Casey Racicot

Casey brings more than 18 years of experience in special education and educational leadership, serving as a special education teacher, Team Chairperson, and Assistant Principal. Her career has been dedicated to improving outcomes for students by strengthening partnerships between families, educators, and school teams while ensuring students receive the individualized supports they need to thrive.
Casey has extensive expertise in special education, including evaluations, IEP development, Section 504 plans, eligibility determinations, compliance, and student support systems. She has led multidisciplinary teams, coached educators, supervised staff, and collaborated with school leaders to build systems that promote high-quality programming, equitable practices, and meaningful student success.
In addition to supporting families, Casey is passionate about mentoring new administrators and partnering with school and district teams. She enjoys helping educational leaders navigate complex student needs, strengthen special education programming, build collaborative teams, and develop practical systems that improve compliance and deliver high-quality programming for all learners. Her approach is rooted in the belief that when educators feel supported and families feel heard, students benefit most.
As Co-Founder of Compass Educational Partners, Casey is committed to helping families navigate the educational process with confidence while providing schools with thoughtful, practical guidance grounded in real-world leadership experience. Whether reviewing an IEP, preparing a family for a meeting, coaching an administrator, or consulting with a school team, Casey brings knowledge, compassion, and a collaborative mindset to every partnership.

Jillian Keating

With more than 17 years of experience in general and special education, Jillian has dedicated her career to helping students thrive by building strong partnerships among families, educators, and schools. Her experience spans early childhood through elementary education in both general and special education settings, providing her with a comprehensive understanding of student support, instructional practices, special education processes, and the importance of collaboration.
Throughout her career, Jillian has developed and implemented individualized education programs (IEPs), collaborated with multidisciplinary teams, analyzed student data to guide decision-making, and worked closely with families to ensure students receive meaningful, individualized support. She believes the most successful outcomes occur when communication is open, relationships are built on trust, and all team members remain focused on the strengths, needs, and goals of the student.
In addition to her professional experience as an educator, Jillian brings the perspective of a parent who has personally navigated the educational system and partnered with school teams to support her own children’s learning needs. Experiencing the process from both sides has deepened her understanding of the questions, emotions, and challenges families often face while seeking the right supports for their children and maintaining positive, productive relationships with schools.
Jillian founded Compass Educational Partners to help bridge the gap between families and educational teams by providing knowledgeable, compassionate guidance and collaborative support. Her mission is to make the special education process more understandable, strengthen communication, and help families and schools work together to create student-centered solutions.
Whether supporting IEP development, reviewing evaluations, preparing for meetings, or helping identify effective next steps, Jillian approaches every situation with the belief that partnership—not conflict—creates the strongest path forward for students.
